Copics Challenge 10

Have managed to join in the Copics Challenge No 10 this week. I used the B39 but the nearest I could get to the other 2 colours were B00 & RV 26.




I needed to make a Thank You card for my friend who got the Martha Stewart punch for me so used the punch - doily lace. The writing I did myself as I didn't have a stamp the correct size.

Proud new owner

Yes I'm the proud new owner of one of these lovely punches :-) Thanks to my wonderful friend who lives on the Isle of Skye, but had been on a visit home to the USA & brought back this little beauty for me - how wonderful of her :-)



Which one you ask? .....................................................








As I was away & missed her post asking which one I wanted she made an executive decision & brought back the one she liked - would have been the one I'd have chosen first I think :-) It's really pretty :-)

My friend is a wonderful crafter herself - she says that she 'sews a bit' & I'm the proud owner of one or two of her wonderful creations :-)





So I'm now the proud owner of the doily lace Martha Stewart edge punch & I'm thrilled to bits & off to have a play ............................................

Back again!

Just a few of the cards that I made over the Easter holidays - yes I took some of my crafting gear away on holiday with me, including my big shot & new nestibilities!! So whilst the rest of the family who could & wanted to did their 10 mile hikes I crafted along with anyone else who wanted to join me :-) Some beautiful mini handbags were made using the Sizzix die :-) Some of you may recognise the MS leaf punch used on the second card. The blooms were made with my new flower punch, think it will become a favourite :-)

I made a few more boxes as Easter presents whilst on holiday but unfortunately don't have pics of them.

Another finished box

This is the box that I made at Sticky Fixers Craft Club. I've now made a few of these lovely boxes & just need to finish off decorating the others!

Sticky Fixers Sketch card

This is the card that I produced during the Craft Club lesson on Sketches - everyone produced really good cards from this, but I'm not sure that thay all understood what they were doing!!

Maddy & Rachel play!

Maddy & I actually had a crafty play in her craft room the other day & made this cute box from the instructions on here We had a lovely afternoon. It makes a change for us to actually do some crafting together for ourselves rather than for Sticky Fixers craft club :-)




Yesterday I used my new sizzix build a flower die that I bought at the Papercraft Fair at Harrogate on Saturday & used it to decorate the top of this cute box.




The faux 'ribbon' was made using Maddy's Martha Stewart punch, slightly offset on one side. I really want/need some of these gorgeous edging punches :-)

Edited to say that I forgot to say that one of the measurements on the box plan I had to revise - the 9 3/4 should be 9 1/2

Picture inspiration

This is my card for the Copics challenge 5. I've been a bit more literal with the picture inspiration - I couldn't find papers I liked in my stash for the challenge so did my own background using distress inks wiped over the card in rough stripes. The card is a tri fold. I used buttons for the flower middles. The image was matted onto a plain blue background & of course coloured with copics.
