LIM Monogram

This is my entry for the LIM challenge this week
The theme is Monogram

After a lot of thought I decided to go with
You (U) 're a Star
The U is a plain chipboard letter that I covered with red & then stamped with black lettering

I embossed the star shape with gold heat embossing powder
& mounted them both on black sequin waste cut in a triangular shape.

So there you have it
You are a Star!

We seem to have had quite a few variations on our theme this week... 'text-eze' being one of them.
It's a cute card nevertheless.
Thanks so much

Aside from the Monogram discussion...
This is such a great card design - very bold and modern - looks just fabulous!

Thanks for your comments everyone. I think that the confusion arose for me (I don't know about anyone else) by reading the red bit of the challenge

Quote "So in effect, your monogram should represent the word it's standing for and not be a part of it."

My U represented the word You .... which I thought was OK ......
