Minimalistic Birthday Card

This is the card that I made for the Charmed Craft Talk member challenge - a minimalistic style card was needed.

I stamped the background paper with a 'writing' background stamp then decoupaged the head & shoulders on the stamp. I used alphabet ribbon & used punches for the happy birthday sentiment.

Also required was decorating the inside a little.

I used my Martha Stewart edge punch for the inside detail and added 2 strips of the gold nail head embellishments on the front to finish.

Pink Easter Basket

This is the Easter basket that I made for my MIL & for the Charmed Cards members challenge. I made the basket using 12x12 double sided paper & then used my Martha Stewart doiley punch to make the edging. I added blooms & pearl brads & ribbon on the handle. The round tag was stamped & cut out using a punch & the edge inked & mounted on another circle scalloped punch & a button in the centre. The other tag was hand cut & stamped with the Happy Easter sentiment & again inked round the edge.

The chocolate bunny is looking after the eggs in the basket! :-) which are on a bed of shredded kitchen roll (we are away in the Yorkshire Dales & I only have a few crafty bits with me to play with)

Anniversary card

I also share my birthday with my friends Wedding anniversary - we attended their wedding up in Scotland 7 years ago & it was a lovely day - can't believe it is 7 yrs ago!! This is the card that is winging it's way up to the Isle of Skye.

The image is coloured with copics & mounted on a matt cut with my round scallop nestabilities. I used my Martha Stewart edge punch & added blooms with a gem brad centre.

I really like the sentiment set that this sentiment stamp comes from.

I used my new sentiment stamp stamped out in opaque white stazon ink mounted on a scalloped circle which I punched out.

Copic Challenge 12

The colours this week for the Copics Challenge :-

Unfortunately with my limited amount of copics I don't have any of the named copics this week so have had to use as near as I can. The closest I have are R20, E31 & E35 and E47. Hope this is ok.

The birthday card is for my SIL (her birthday is on Saturday & I don't think that she peeks on here)

I used my new Martha Stewart punch - thanks Kath for getting that for me :-) & my new stamps - the fan & shoe that I got from my last visit to Lynne at the Craft Den Sheffield. I love them :-)
