More of my Oz Cards ..................
I seem to be needing a few Get Well Soon cards atm so this was one I made using the Green Stack by DCWV & a Basic Grey clear stamp.
This is the card that I made & sent over to my friend in the USA who had been in & out of hospital whilst I was over in Oz. I used some paper from the new stack of papers that I bought over in Oz - the Green Stack by DCWV & Basic Grey clear stamps
This was the card that I made for our nephews birthday. It was one of the stamps that I bought on my trip to Paper2 in Mornington. I again used paper from my new stack & the clear stamp is by imaginisce. Our nephew had just driven a long way home so it seemed appropriate :-)

Name Plaques
Unfortunately my Dad has had to go into a home to be cared for. Luckily Mum has found a lovely caring home & visits every day. We noticed that some of the residents had names on their room doors so I made name plaques for Dad & his room mate Frank.
Mum, hubby & I had a trip out to Mornington to Paper2 to gather a few supplies to play with. Hubby was rewarded for being patient & watching the cricket on the TV on the sofa provided in store to keep the menfolk happily occupied, by being taken to the beach for a swim - much needed on a lovely sunny day :-)
The letters were plain chipboard which I covered with paper, sanded the edges & used prismacolour pens round the edges & to do the faux stitching.
The bird is a clear stamp from We are Memory Keepers & I decoupaged it. The house & it's door & windows & chimney I cut freehand. I also cut the grass strip freehand. Frank's letters I used brown prismacolour pens round the edge to give a distressed look & make the letters stand out.
