Waste not Want not!

Whilst making my LIM entry I got inky fingers & didn't realise, putting inky marks on the edge of my card :-(
the rest of the card was fine so I cut off the inky edges, mounted it onto red bazil & made another card!

I added the flesh colour to the image to balance out the stronger use of the red on the card so the eye is drawn to the image.

This obviously wasn't appropriate for the Less is More challenge as it wasn't a one layer card but I have another card made ready for when it is needed :-)

Anyone else do this kind of thing?

By "this kind of thing" do you mean inky smudges on a CAS card? ;o) Great save on this one, the red matting gives it real pop!

Fab way of avoiding waste (and, yes, I do that sort of thing - don't like putting anything in the bin even if it's the recycle one) x
