Anything Goes Christmas

now is it my eyes or is this photo blury?

It was fine when I cropped it!

Anyway this is my entry for CHNC this week which is Anything goes as it's halfway through the year! ALREADY!!? Wow has that gone fast!

I stamped the Santa image & coloured with copics then added stickles & used a gold pen for the buckle, then mounted it on red card & onto the backing paper. I love this paper with the sparkle on it :-)

To finish I stamped the Ho! Ho! Ho! sentiment straight onto the card.

Christmas Wings

The challenge at CHNC this week is Christmas Wings

So for challenge 25 I'd like to see some Christmas wings - in other words, I'd like you to include an angel or a fairy on your card.

This is my Angel

blowing it's trumpet! 

I cut out the pieces of the Angel & positioned it over the paper doily, which I cut out the middle of, & onto the pink Xmas paper background.

I emphasised the wing edge using Stickles

To finish I added the sentiment stamped onto the background paper 

& mounted on white card

The birthday card .... ..

Went for pretty with the card

I covered the numbers with the background paper & inked the edges & mounted them on the circles which were cut with my nesties & placed on top of one another.

folded over the corner & secured with a large pearl brad. Backed the corner with blue bazil card, & inked the edges

I added the blooms 2 toning & one larger contrast.

Added the pearl strip onto the gorgeous heart lace along the bottom.

and added the butterfly which was given the sparle round the wings with silver stickles

Not forgetting the Happy Birthday sentiment which was matted on the toning papers.

Mojo Monday Sketch 165

This is the card I made from the sketch over on Mojo Monday blog

I used my copics to colour

and different coloured stickles to highlight the snow.

Frosted lace for the roofs, icicle for the trees & diamond in other places.

Crafty Cardmakers challenge No 32

The challenge at Crafty Cardmakers is to use a freebie

So I used the freebie visage image that came with Craft Stamper Magazine.

I inked it using timber brown stazon ink.

The bottom edge was cut using my new Tim Holtz die & I used my Martha Stewart edge punches for the strips above, finished off with the strip of heart lace. The with love sentiment I matted using my circle & circle scallop punches & added silver stickles to the edge.

Using the timber brown ink again I stamped the motif  straight onto the background paper & added the blooms over the top.

The butterfly is a Martha Steward punch & I again edged it with silver stickles & popped little dots of silver stickles into the holes at the bottom for added 'bling' when the card is closed.

Copics Blog Candy

This is my entry for the Crafty Goings On Copics Blog Candy

Apologies to Karen for not being able to link properly when I posted before - Mr Blogger was playing up! so please disregard the first.

I used copics to colour the image when I was round at Maddys for a crafty session a while ago

I used Stickles clear rock candy around the ruffles of the dress

I used my nesties for the matting & the stamp was the free one from Craft Stamper magazine stamped onto the scalloped punched circle

I added a heart charm tied with ribbon and 3 buttons to finish.

Sketch & Stash challenge

This is my entry for the Sketch and Stash challenge. I used my new Wings of Hope digital stamp downloaded from the Whimsy site in aid of the Haiti earthquake disaster.




The image was coloured using Copic's & I used Basic Grey papers & the scalloped circle mount was cut & embossed using nestabilities & my Big Shot.




I used silver stickles on the mane, tail & wings to add a bit of magic sparkle.
